Viewers were seated in a wallpapered ‘Bob’ themed room similar to that of Bob’s imprisonment. A camera placed in front of an analog television recorded the transition and melding of images when changing from one channel to another. Sentences from several different scientific texts on the subject of memory were cut and mashed together to make one new coherent piece. The piece was then read by three actors and cut and mashed again from the different performances.
